  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound pasta of choice

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and brown the beef on all sides.
  2. Transfer the beef to the slow cooker and add onion, garlic, broth, tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
