Strawberry Earthquake Cake

A rich and decadent dessert that combines the sweetness of strawberries with a moist cake base, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil until well combined.
  3. Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over the batter in the pan.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped strawberries, coconut, and pecans on top.
  6. Pour the remaining batter on top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra twist, add some chocolate chips to the batter.
