- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top during the last 15 minutes of cooking, cover, and let it melt.
- Serve warm over pasta or with crusty bread.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add Italian seasoning to the meatball mixture.
