A delicious reinterpretation of the classic cheesesteak, incorporating turkey bacon and pasta for a quick, hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until tender.
  4. Add the cooked pasta, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover until melted.
  6. Serve hot.
