  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the orecchiette pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli florets and 1/4 cup of water to the skillet. Cover and steam until broccoli is tender.
