- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, maple syrup, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
