  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken breast and cook until browned on both sides.
  3. Stir in the honey BBQ sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Add the rice and chicken broth, and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add the bell peppers and green onions, then cover and cook for another 10 minutes.
