  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add oil, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Once baked, let the cake cool for 10 minutes and then poke holes all over the surface.
  6. Prepare a chocolate ganache and pour it over the cake.
  7. Top with coconut and pecans.
  8. Let the cake chill before serving.
