These Easy Snickers Cupcakes are a decadent dessert that combines the classic flavors of Snickers bars into a moist cupcake topped with creamy frosting and chocolate drizzle.

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped Snickers bars
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped Snickers bars.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cupcake liners.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow cupcakes to cool completely.
  10. Meanwhile, heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until just simmering and pour it over the chocolate chips. Let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the chocolate ganache over the cooled cupcakes and top with additional Snickers pieces.

Notes

  • For an extra indulgent treat, try adding a caramel drizzle on top as well.
  • These cupcakes can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
