A tasty twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak using turkey bacon and keto-friendly ingredients.

  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until soft.
  3. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Lay out the turkey bacon on a baking sheet and layer the sautéed vegetables and provolone cheese on top.
  6. Roll up the turkey bacon tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  7. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
