  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., Swiss or Gruyere)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, half of the French onion soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the Crock Pot and pour the remaining French onion soup over them.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  5. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top and cover until melted.
