- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter.
- Add the baking soda and salt, and mix.
- Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
- Spoon half of the batter into a greased loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon over it.
- Add the rest of the batter and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon on top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
