Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

A delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines cheesy ranch flavors with smoked sausage for the perfect comfort food.

  • 2 pounds potatoes, diced
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine diced potatoes, sliced sausage, olive oil, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss until everything is well coated, then spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with cheese, and return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from oven and top with sour cream before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some chopped green onions on top before serving.
  • Feel free to use frozen potatoes to save on prep time.
