  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the beef, and stir to combine.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, uncooked rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, and mixed vegetables. Stir until fully blended.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding some Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture.
