Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into rectangles.
  7. Fill half of the rectangles with a small amount of filling, then place another rectangle on top and seal the edges.
