Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the diced apples.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
